Getting to know your coach
Dora Vasili, Certified GAPS Coach
She is passionate about helping her clients eat real gut-healing food and provides them with the knowledge and motivation they need to succeed.
Dora completed her Certified GAPS Coaching under the guidance of Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride, the founder of the GAPS Nutritional Protocol (MD, MMedSci(neurology), MMedSci(nutrition)), Chef Monica Corrado (the GAPS Chef, Nutrition Consultant and Certified GAPS Practitioner), Amy Mihaly (Certified GAPS Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner) and Linda Paterson, founder and director of GAPS Australia and creator of the Fussy Eating Mealtime Management Program.
In her previous life, she was an IT Professional with a Bachelor of Science in Computing Science with First Class Honours from UTS who used every opportunity to learn about nutrition and having a healthy lifestyle while working behind a screen 9-6 Monday to Friday. After having a family, she realised how important it was to put real food on the table to give kids the best start in life, and understood the confusion and overwhelm that new families have to navigate.
Dora recognises the importance of a personalised small-steps approach and tailors her clients’ next steps to their individual needs at the pace that is appropriate for them. She takes the time to get to know each of her clients and thoroughly assesses where they're at in terms of their food sourcing and preparation. She then develops a plan of action for each client to ensure that they never feel overwhelmed, and helps them get ready to follow the GAPS Nutritional Protocol.
